Our Mission
We The People Florida exists to restore constitutional governance through citizen-led politics. We believe that political power should flow from the people up—not from party elites down.
Founded on the principle that government derives its just powers from the consent of the governed, WTPFL is building a political infrastructure that puts Floridians first. We're not interested in building another top-heavy party apparatus. Instead, we're creating a decentralized network of engaged citizens who take ownership of their local communities.
Our approach is simple: win where we can deliver results, prove that citizen-led governance works, and let success speak for itself.
Our Values
Constitutional Fidelity
We uphold the Constitution as the supreme law of the land. Every policy position and candidate endorsement is measured against constitutional principles.
Radical Transparency
Open meetings, published finances, and accountable leadership. We believe sunlight is the best disinfectant for political corruption.
Local Empowerment
Solutions work best when they're created closest to the problems. We prioritize local decision-making over centralized mandates.
Citizen Leadership
We don't believe in career politicians. We support citizen candidates who serve their communities then return to private life.
Results Over Rhetoric
We measure success by outcomes, not soundbites. Simple scorecards track promises kept, not promises made.
Neighbor First
Before we're partisans, we're neighbors. We believe in treating political opponents with dignity and finding common ground where possible.
Our Structure
WTPFL is organized as a minor political party under Florida Statute 103.095. We maintain the minimum structure required by law while maximizing member participation and local autonomy.
Executive Committee
As required by Florida law, our Executive Committee includes a Chair, Vice Chair, Secretary, and Treasurer. These officers are elected by party members and are responsible for ensuring compliance with state election laws and campaign finance requirements.
County Chapters
The real work happens at the county level. Each of Florida's 67 counties can establish a local chapter with significant autonomy to address local priorities and recruit local candidates.
Precinct Captains
Our grassroots network is built on precinct captains—volunteers who serve as the connection between WTPFL and their neighbors. They're the foundation of everything we do.
National Affiliation
We The People Florida is affiliated with We The People National, a growing network of state parties committed to constitutional governance and citizen empowerment across America.
